Hi all,
Recent purchase of a NIB .44 Mag Blackhawk, 5.5", off of Bud's. A few trips to the range without incident. This last weekend, up north on family and other business, almost without exception the cylinder sticks and will not advance without my basically pulling it forward a bit, away from the frame and towards the barrel (a very slight pressure forward). Advancing the cylinder empty isn't a problem, and neither is it a problem when using snap caps. Only with live ammo.
Have no idea what's going on. Will be stripping it tomorrow and scrubbing it, then CLPing it over night. Hope that cures it as it's brand new. If not, any ideas? Could this be one of those "could be anything" kinds of problems?
