Hornady came out with their Hornady 45 Cal SUB-X.
I went to their reloading website and found no data concerning this new SUB-X 410gr bullet for Leveractions.
Reloading Data Center

I then went to their load data page on their main website.
They provide the following:
There's no information for the Marlin's Leveractions. (Go Figure).
Hornady always makes the distinction between the three in their Reloading Editions.

Does anyone know of any powder chargers and case Overall Length (COL)
information for this .458 410gr. #45052 in the Leveractions?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You use the Trapdoor data:

The bullet is not meant to be driven any faster I imagine. I am interested in this (expensive) bullet because I am tired of leading my barrels as it is a PITA.

Great, Thanks for the advice.
Yes, it is an expensive bullet.
$46.99 @ Cabelas for a box of 50 ( $0.94 ea).

My hope is that someday Vista Outdoors will re-introduce the jacketed soft point 405 grain Core Locked bullet to the reloaders market. If I had known it was going to be dropped from production (for component purchase) I would have bought a life time supply. As it is, I have very few left and am looking for an alternative that is not cast lead. This new Sub-X bullet is interesting but not a replacement for the Remington 405 jacketed :( if for no other reason than cost.
