I have a 250 from the early 70's, obviously since they stopped making them in 73, I'll include some pice, curious to know what you think it's worth. Not looking to sell, just have no idea of it's value. It's in very good condition. Thanks all

I had one given to me by my parents for Christmas 1970(?). I gave it to my oldest Grandson for Christmas 3yrs ago.

Yours is in great condition, but when I see them on GA or GI, they don't seem to bring a lot of $$. I'd say that 3-$350 is about right and maybe as high as $400.

The .22mag version (I think it was the M255) would likely bring more

Enjoy that fine rifle. Mine was still quite accurate some 45yrs after getting it and well worthy of being scoped.

Very nice rife - Not sure where you are located. However, recent live auctions that I have attended in the Upper Midwest - Northern plains area, these models in nice condition have brought anywhere from $250 to $350.

Our government is doing everything they can to outlaw guns here period. Those of us who are licensed firearms owners are not the problem, but they paint us like we are. It's a shitty situation, but the current government will lose this fight, and they are so low in the polls right now that next election they'll be history, or at least most everyone hopes. It's a shitty situation. I know you guys down there are facing a similar situation, and to your credit, your founding fathers saw this coming and wrote, what I consider, one of the most brilliant pieces of parchment ever written. I wish ours had been as written in stone as was yours. My mom is American, born in Hamilton Ohio. She's 87 and a hard core Republican. She's quite the woman. Cheers
