Thanks Darkcloud, they make fun projects. The bullet blowing up like that is what I was concerned about. At 2200fps the 265ftx leaves a lot of lead glitter behind in the bullet cavity. I was pretty sure another 300fps wouldn't be good for it. The first hairtest we had with the 225BC zipped right through and didn't expand/fracture. We were able to contact the owner of Bear Creek and he redesigned that bullet to open up quicker at higher speeds than he had prevously tested it to. He did it quickly and during their busy time. Very impressed with their customer service. Hopefully one of us will get a chance to try the redesigned bullet this fall.

Suppose I didn't put this upper here either. Just finished the barrel a couple weeks ago. Unknown maker blank, 1-8 556 11.5" heavy contour. Sota upper, toolcraft BCG, JSE gas block and tube, cheapie Trinnity Force handguard I bought a bunch of 6-7 years back as they lock up tight and stay put, silencerco asr brake, leupold mount and vortex scope.

Caught my gas gun division rig shining in the sun. I didn't think it was possible to build a 308 large frame gas gun that shoots so soft that you can spot your hits and see trace at 600+ yards, and is a legitimate 3/4moa rifle, but I managed to do it. Has me wondering if I can do it a second time. Maybe if Craddock could get Bartleins back a little quicker than 1 year...

Some recent builds. The M4E1 is my newest PRS Gas Gun Division rig. Proof 223 Wylde barrel 16" mid gas, SA AGB, CMC Casette, WOA BCG, Tubb Flatwire, H3, and some other goodies.

We'll see how it shoots. The other is just a re-hash of my home defense rifle and truck gun. WOA Upper, PSA meme lower, SOLGW barrel, and bcm parts.

Nice build I just helped my son finish one in 308

The stamp for my MP5 22 was finally approved after 67 days due to an error on my part. Stocks for the 22 version are as rare as hen's teeth but I recently lucked into these. Decisions, decisions...

That’s a nice problem to have! Good luck with your “decision”😄
Another fine looking firearm.

I have a few....

I'm tellin' ya! They reproduce in the closet!!! It took me less than 3 years to go from "I think maybe I'm going to buy one of these AR's and give them a try" to 🤦‍♂️ "Where am I going to PUT another (7th) AR?.... There's no more room in the safe!" 🤣

I recently picked up a MKE/Century AP53 with the intention of converting it to a SBR and took it to the indoor range last week to test for function. I shot several mags without a single hiccup but it is loud and I'm sure the folks on either side were happy when I finished and packed up. Got home and E-filed a Form 1 which was approved in only 3 days on a trust.

Today I installed some surplus HK53 stocks along with the factory scope mount but am still waiting on a new recoil spring assembly. At some point I will swap the mount to install an Aimpoint but for now I plan to scope the gun to see how well it shoots. I'm also looking into a dedicated suppressor and am looking at some of the newer 3D printed flow through designs.
