On its way for test & review. Pretty excited about this one. I do love an SBL. Rather see it in .45 Colt however .44 mag will do for now.
Yepper, I have one of their first ones and it is a tack driver for sure. One worth having and I'm guessing this one will be the same.My SBL is in 45/70 and is an excellent guide gun and to shelf hunting gun for game out the 250 yards.
It is pricy no doubt. Imagine what the first ones on GB will go for!Well, it looks really nice and it ought to for an MSRP of $1529. Ouch!
The street price might prove interesting.

Hey Travis, just got back from the range and this rifle is just a blast to shoot. Love the 16.1" barrel and the action was nice and smooth. Haven't loaded any cast yet to shoot in it however it sure liked the 200-grain XTP's. Next are the 240-grain Hornady's then cast.I may end up snagging one of these in 357 Magnum. 44 Magnum would be smarter though....
The MSRP is $1,529 so that's a great price! What’s a good price for one my LGS quoted me a little over $1200
Warm but not max loads! I did feel it which surprised me for a .44 magWe’re those some hot loads in that gun? Looks like it had a little punch to it!!!
I handled the new S&W over the weekend and although fairly nice, I would certainly take this new model Marlin over the S&W. Of course, if you can't find one, you can't buy it.Ibh
I’m torn between this and the new S&W 1854
2 of my LGS have the S&W but no one in my area has the Marlin.
