Sign me up, assuming its okay with the forum mods. Did a lot of fishing with the old made in France 300s and 308s, back in the day. Lots of memories.

 

Ha... did the posting count thread get you going.. :biggrin: I didn't mention it in there, but do have a couple of Mitchell's kicking around. They originally belonged to my dad, and remember using them a lot off boats and piers as a kid, and then they eventually got passed on down. Anyway, if it helps you any I'll go along...

Also... ever notice that of all the reels you may have, the Mitchell's look be the ones that have the most mileage on them? I have Diawa, Shimano, Quick and Ryobi reels... don't hold a candle to looking as used, I just naturally gravitate to a Mitchell when I throw a rig together to go out.
