Does anyone make a AR15 style tactical stock and forearm for the 336? Thanks

Mossberg makes an tactical 3030 with one, but the whole gun looks like a joke in my honest opinion. And to be honest I would never out an AR type adjustable stock on a lever action. Just my opinion, I mean I have a red dot and a bullet band but that's about as tactical looking as I like. But what ever suits you is fine with you. I didn't mean to sound mean or rude or judgemental. Just me 2 cents.

Just lookig for an adjustable stock so my 5'4" daughter can shoot it comfortably, I'm 6'4". I checked out the Mossberg, interesting. My Google search found no after factory stocks for the 336, and as you indicate, this is a traditional rifle, perhaps, no maket for an adjustable stock.

1- Buy a piece of Birch, used walnut, Y stock, call one of the stock makers for shorty, may get a deal on one that got ugly full length, and make it fit her perfect. 2- A new screw is six bucks. 3- epoxy fix if needed. 4- Two minutes to change. 5- Could easy pull off for 30-40 bucks. 6- How much is shooting with your daughter worth? Maybe PRICELESS! Gtek

I agree with gtek, worst case scenaria spend 40-60 bucks for a replacement stock on brownells or midway and cut it to size for her it shouldn't take more that 5 minutes to switch it out and if she really likes it there you go. A reason to buy another marlin 336 so you can both have one! :)

Thank you jpuas; norahc, gtek and wirtman! Correct, shooting with my daughter is priceless. I will undertake creating her her own stock until I can afford to buy her a 336 :)
Kolns,

Welcome to Marlin Owners......Is your 336 Pistol Grip or straight?...............If PG, I may have something you could work with, for the cost of the postage.....Give me a few days and I'll look.

I like the wood stock on my Marlin. However, I long for Hogue to make a rubber overmolded stock for the 336. I've used their stocks on other rifles and they sooo nice. But I must agree buy a replacement stock and cut it down.
