OK, I need a .22 mag like I need a hole in the head. A guy is offering to sell me a Marlin 25MN in .22 mag. It's in good condition, no scope, plain stock, but he is throwing in 100 rounds of ammo. He want's $150 for it all. Am I crazy for not taking him up on it?

I paid $200 for mine. No ammo, but a scope. $150 seems like a deal

Is the mortgage paid? Is there food in the house? Are the lights on? Could I sell it for what I paid? That's the only explanation my wife needs.

Good buy although if it's an MN and not just an M is should have a checkered stock not a plain stock.

I put mine on the market for a week at $450 but with a sling, scope, three 7-round magazines, one 12-round magazine and 500 rounds of ammo. No takers. :)

Not all MN's. Mine is an early 25MN sans pressed checkering. Would have preferred the deluxe version, but doubt much improvement in accuracy.

I put a Tech sight front sight and Peep on my 25MN. That rifle can keep a nice group out to 100 yards. I like mine.
