It looks like the new forum is having some tech issues. I joined a couple of days ago and now it gives me"invalid user name" I pm'd the site so I will see

 

Yeah, something went wrong between early this afternoon and tonight. I'm sure Dave is working on it. Hopefully he will be getting it back working again soon.

I guess I will TRY and join when/and if, I get a Henry. I joined this forum because it was a Marlin forum. I like and respect Henry's but for them to ride on the coattails, because they are levers, does not make them Marlin JM's. There are lever forums. If I have PO'd anyone, I am sorry, and all of the reviews of Henry's and customer service have been great.. With a JM you don't need customer service! They proved it for 177 years! Granted, a few exceptions.

 

I don't think they are trying to ride Marlins coat tails. Henry puts out a great product as did Marlin until Remington came along. Remington has very slowly tried to fix the mess they made by putting out some bad rifles. We are still seeing a few bad ones.

I plan on staying on both forums and supporting any and all firearm manufactures I own which include Marlin and Henry. No one should be PO'd you're just letting you're feelings be known

I just reregistered and it is working. You basically have to go through the register process all over again. I think we need to give them a break starting a Forum from scratch is not easy. Apparenetly they were trying to update the site and had a major failure not uncommon in the computer world.....

 

The site is up and running again. You can reregister and use the same stuff. I was able to save the shell, but lost all posts, etc. I was trying to install something and then hit a wrong button.

The new site isn't going anywhere now. All it took was most of the night (so it would be back in the morning),and more money to the Web host.

Stay tuned for the coolest forum logo given to me by my friends at Henry.
