Found one today, I have never seen a 880SQ before. It's in real nice shape, and has a scope on it maybe a bushnell. I really don't need another 22 but now tonight been thinking about and wondering if I should go back and buy it tomorrow? They had a price of 275.00 on but said he would sale it for 200.00. By the way the serial number beginning with 04xxxxxx. Thanks for your opinion

Goferit, not seen that often and $200 is very fair. Same heavy barrel as used on Marlin's model 2000 expensive target rifle and my 7000 target semi auto.

Well I just got home and brought the 880sq with me . I got it for 200 out the door. It's in really nice shape,I don't think it has been fired much. I don't think it has a match grade chamber not that I care but the serial number starts with 0452xxxx. It has no dove tail blank or drilled and tapped front sight screws. It does have a tasco pronghorn 4x32 made in China scope on it.

My 880SQ shoots incredible groups with CCI Standard Velocity (sub-sonics). Like really amazing.

If you thought regular Marlins were accurate... you'll lose your mind over an 880SQ ;-)

Suddenly I realized all the subtle inaccuracy was coming from *me*. The gun seemed PERFECT. If I wanted my shots all in one hole, I needed to really focus on cheek position on the stock (so my view through the scope was identical to last time) and make sure the cross hairs were exactly on the first hole. It opened up a whole new world of what I had to do to be "perfect."

Like most people, I stopped at "good enough." :)
