This Kobalt 138 pc. tool set (Item # 573342, Model # 86754) normally $129.00 is on clearance for $38.70 (https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-138...t-138-Piece-Standard-SAE-and-Metric-Polished-Chrome-Mechanics-Tool-Set/50200791).

This appears to be a perfect set to keep in the vehicle for emergencies.

Check your local Lowe's online. This clearance price isn't available at all locations.

I don't have one (I have a similar Crescent set - https://www.amazon.com/Crescent-CTK...s=crescent+tool+sets&link_code=qs&qid=1578224878&sourceid=Mozilla-search&sr=8-2) but I'm seriously thinking of getting the Kobalt set for the other car.

One thing that I do when I get new road tools, I use them on the next major repair at home as a test to make sure the tools perform.

I have been a professional transmission rebuilder most of my life. I have always used mostly snap on, but kobalt was made by Williams and snap on owned Williams tools. my brother has a box full of them and they look nicely made, he likes them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

My local Lowe's has a clearance area up near the tools. It kinda blends in, so look for the yellow clearance tags. Evey now and then, I find some good deals on odds and ends tools I just can't walk away from.
