I think it's time we saw some real Korean war movies! I'd like to see a movie about Fox Company during the Breakout of the Chosin Reservoir with representative Chinese human wave attacks. I served in Germany, and on two Reforgers we had -40 deg "wind chill", but only -20 deg temps. I cannot even "imagine" fighting in -40 deg temp weather! Those guys were in deep doo-doo, and I firmly believe we need to remind the public. What event/battle of the Korean war would you like to see remembered via a movie?

I agree, and have always wondered why there is such a dearth of movies based on the Korean War. There are only a few that I have ever seen. Lots of documentaries, but no feature films.

Also...I've always been fascinated by the 1st gen jet fighters/bombers (US and Soviet designs). Technologically they are the missing link...from when the 2 superpowers were still not sure where they were going with the technology...with one foot in dogfighting with machine guns, and the other in radar/heat guided missiles. Aesthetically they are kind of akward, kind of sexy, kind of clumsy...they are the redheaded college freshmen of aerospace history lol.

Since my father was injured on Pork Chop Hill on 9 Jul 53 and earned the bronze star with V device for his actions, and since he never talked about his experience, even on his death bed nearly a decade ago, I'd really like to see a film made of the last battle of Pork Chop Hill. In '59, Gregory Peck starred in a movie about an earlier battle on that hill, but the later battle, for obvious reasons, is more interesting to me...
