I've had one for about 10 yrs. These are small, light and easy to conceal, but they are a handful to shoot, run 50 rds through one and your hand starts to buzz as if you spent a day running a 50 year old chainsaw. It was my first pocket pistol so it took me a while to learn how to shoot it, it is very picky about limp-wristing. I've gotten to the point where I can reliably shoot 8" plates at 12 yds.

 

Fun little gun, huh? I've had mine for about four flawless years now, and like it a lot.

I had one for a short time.It was like a cannon to shoot and I could not hit past 5 yrds.I traded up to the Khar Pm9,which was not much better for me.Now, I own the G43.The G43 is easy to handle for me and deadly accurate in my hands.
Nothing wrong with the KeL tech if you can handle it and are accurate with it.

Smallest, narrowest, lightest, 8 shot 9mm NATO on the market. They're right up the road from me. A buddy who worked there told me they shot over 5,000 rounds of a +P ammo through it with no problems.

The mass of the slide is so low you HAVE to have a tight grip on her to keep it running and not short stroking. Had mine for going on 10 years now, dropped it off at lunch and it was upgraded with a metal mag release and a new improved feed ramp barrel, and some kind of trigger upgrade - ready the next day. It has never failed.

It is almost exactly the same height, width, and length as my PPK .380 acp which weighs several ounces more empty than my loaded PF9.

Minute of angle, bankers box, at 50 feet. More than accurate enough for close encounters of the worst kind.

In the past, I was also a Kel-Tec fan. I've had the old model P11, P32, P3AT, PF9, Sub2000, and something else, probably. The old P11 was the most accurate of the bunch, and I bought it used at a real discount. Traded it in a weak moment. The P3AT was one I kept for 5-6 years although it was the worst of the bunch. The Sub2000 was used when I got it, but it was flawless - for what it was good for. I just can't wrap my head around the whole 9mm carbine thing. The P32 is still in the house since my wife claims it. The PF9 was traded and replaced with a Kahr CW9 (added night sights) which is a real step up .... but the PF9 certainly had it's moments.

The Kel-Tecs are capable, although when I was somewhat of a fan their normal life expectancy was around 5-6K rounds. They are definitely meant to be "break-in" shot, shot enough to keep the ammo (and user) fresh ... mainly shot "little" and carried a lot. Good guns for the intended purpose ... my opinion, obviously.

Yea I hate the pinky stud on it and I am planning on gettting the 8 round extended mag plus the plus 1 extension for my 7 round mag. I found the plus 1 extension gives me a better grip plus a total of 8 rounds in the mag.

 

I found the grip is like gripping sandpaper so going to wrap it with grip tape. Other than the pinky thingy and the grips I found it pleasant to shoot.

 

That 'pinky stud' can be replaced by a more concealable factory flat floor plate. Wouldn't have it any other way. Your pinky has very little to do with grip if your other 4 digits are functional. For me, it's all about weight/power/conceal ability. So far no one has beaten the PF9 in those departments.

Well got the plus 1 extended plate for my mag so going from 7 rounds to 8 plus it feels better when I grip it plus no difference in pocket carry
