H335 for 30-30?

I bought some H335 for reloading .223 and noticed there's load data for 30-30 on the label, which I thought is kinda strange. The two cartridges have practically nothing in common. It's difficult for me to wrap my head around a powder meant for 223/5.56 automatic rifles also works for slow heavy bullets in an old tymie lever gun.

I'm not reloading for 30-30 just yet, but I am curious to know if anyone is using H335 for it and how it's working for you.

Works great, wish I had more of it. Hand load using 33 grains of H335 and Hornady 150 grain RN #3035 gives me 2298 fps out of 20" barrel Westernfield. When I was sighting it in at 100 yards the first 3 shot group was 5/8" second was 3/4". SD was 4.58 fps but I don't recall for how many shots.
Wouldn't mind using it for 30-30 if I had more of it on hand, but have switched to LVR which gives me almost as good of accuracy and ~140 fps more velocity.

A lot of powders will work for things they are not normally used for and work well but will not be the best thing to use. Unique, Red Dot , Blue Dot , Green Dot ,Herco and Longshot are all shotgun powders but are used more in handgun loads and cast bullet rifle loads than for the shotgun shells they were intended for. Some powders are just that flexible , some are not.

I have used H335 in years past and reloaded 30 30 ammo with it. I had no issues with performance. I have used H335, BLC-2, CFE223, H4895, AA2230, and couple of other Accurate Arms powders to reload 30 30. Now I'm talking over 15 years ago, except for the cfe223 which I only tried a few years ago, when it first introduced. Some powders like H335, BLC-2 and H4895 I did use extensively, while others I only experimented with loading less than 10 rounds to see if I liked the powder for use in 30 30. But the one powder I have always gone back to is H4895. Why, because I have quite a bit of that powder and it performs well. I've exhausted my supply of H335 and BLC-2 and it is hard to find around my area.

Don't use it for 30-30 but have used it a lot for 444. Actually it is the most accurate powder that I've used for that rifle. Quit using it because it throws a 3 foot flame out the barrel. Bought 8 lbs recently because it was there and know I can use it if I run short of 4198.
