This man is the best in the business. In front of the press all the time and they don't mess with him either. This was a while back but classic Grady Judd.

"You kill a policeman it means no arrest...no Miranda rights...no negotiations...nothing but as many bullets as we can shoot into you...period." said Polk County Florida Sheriff, Grady Judd
An illegal immigrant, in Polk County, Florida, who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop and ended up "executing" the deputy, who stopped him.
The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed. The murderer was later found hiding in a wooded area.
As soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire.
They hit the guy 68 times. Naturally, the liberal media went nuts and asked why they had to shoot the poor, undocumented immigrant 68 times.
Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel: "Because that's all the ammunition we had."
Now, is that just about the all-time greatest answer or what!
The Coroner also reported that the man died of natural causes.
😂

When asked by a reporter how that could be, since there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied: (BEST QUOTE ever) .. ..
"When you are shot 68 times, you are naturally gonna die."
"Welcome to Florida, Y'all."

I lived in Polk County at the time and remember the incident well. When I heard the perp was shot 68 times I was shocked! The police actually fired something like 250 shots. How could they miss 182 times shooting at someone hiding under a log? Grady better get those boys some more range time. Kidding aside, the funeral procession for the fallen officer was the longest I’ve ever seen. There were departments represented from all over this nation. Brought more than one tear to my eyes.

I lived in Florida for 17 years. You know those "????"💕 "T" Shirts?
My favorite one said "If you 💕 New York City - Take I-95 North!".
I'm sure there's some fine folks in NYC and I mean no disrespect, But I've met damn few and I've met many from upstate that share our Southern, Down-Home values. Sherriff Grady is one Outstanding LEO.

To bad he's not covering the whole state. South east coast of Fl. is more blue than red. I pray all the folks from Mass. NY. NJ. and the north east in general who are moving down here are doing so in order to escape the liberal leanings of their states and are registering as Republicans. Not that they are the be all end all either.

Recent reports indicate Florida has a respectable GOP majority for the first time in a long time. Trump has a strong following here, not a lot good you can say for or about the idiots currently in the White House that folks don't know. As of the first of April there were 100,000 plus more registered Republicans than registered Democrats.

While urban and rural Florida has always been strongly Republican, the Democrats' corruption and anti-America stance has swung all of the population centers in the state heavily Republican as well. Were it not for mail-in voting, and Democrat corruption in the 2020 election I would not hesitate to guess that Biden didn't win a single district in the entire state. Knowing how hard they cheated to take Duval County. Knowing how slim Biden's margin was in ALL of the population centers, except Broward County where cheating is the norm, Biden did not win anything in the state of Florida.

I'm very curious to see how your neighbor Georgia fares in the fall. Hopefully new changes there will prevent Abrams from registering dead and former residents to vote in 22. I guess we will find out if Atlanta can dictate to the entire state what's in their liberal agenda.

I applaud Florida's citizens for making the move away from such policies.

I look for Stacey Abrahms to be facing charges by then honestly. Phone records were checked on many of those folks that were stuffing Georgia ballot boxes, and oddly enough many of them pinged at Abrahm's office address, just before, just after, or before and after the security cameras recorded them taking pictures of counterfeit ballots they were dropping in the ballot drop box.

Story I read indicated at least 2 other democrat's offices were pinged as well, but didn't offer their names, and stated Abrahms' office was far and away the most popular. It was also pointed out that Abrahms' attorney had accused Georgia's electronic voting machines of not properly recording the vote when she ran for Governor, in her lawsuit against the state, however he withdrew that statement when Trump made the same allegations.

I for one hope that DeSantis does leave. But only to the White House on 2026. Floridas' loss, the countries gain. Then their will be a new Sheriff in town. So win-win.

I think DeSantis wants to leave his mark on the state of Florida, kinda like Trump left a mark on the nation. I also think he plans on butting heads with Democrats until he leaves office, regardless of what office they may hold.
