What's your ,everyday carry pocket knife, or carry knife.
For work or play.
I have a Swiss army knife, that is small enuf ,I could carry in my pocket, but I carry it in a leather belt pouch,
It's one I picked up last yr.
The Evolution S -14
And it replaced a Remington single lockblade knife
That I still carry sometimes mostly during hunting season
It's small but has a nice clip on pouch to carry on your belt or clip in your pocket. It's the Sportsman series, insignia edition.
Will post pic. Later.

I've been using home depot's Coast brand folding knives. They are cheap, easy to sharpen to a razor edge and I don't cry if I loose one, which happens pretty often in landscaping. I think I lost three in '16. I have better knives in my BOBs.

I carry a Case Sod Buster jr in my pocket or a Case peanut.
On my belt I carry a 1970's Parker mid size folding hunter
with bone handles and stainless blades.
I have a lot of knives and switch sometimes.
But I always carry something with a bone or stag handle
and it's usually a Case or Moore-Maker.

There was a survey not too long back for knives that should never go out of production - the PM2 was #1.
#2 was the famous Buck 110 folding hunter.

My EDC can vary but my old standby from when I was a teen has been an Opinel #8.
Fantastic knife at a fantastic price. Comes in varying lengths, various wood types and carbon or stainless.
Plus it's a tradition in Europe for many folks.

For a long time it was either a Kershaw Blur or a SOG Flash II, both were great knives. In the last year I've upgraded to a Benchmade 943 and a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 both are awesome knives with great steel. The 943 is better when you don't want a big knife in your pocket. The Para 2 is a big knife that takes up a pretty significant amount of room in your pocket.

Mil-K-818

Camillus is no longer in production. Be aware that those being sold under the Shrade brand, while their quality seems OK, are made in China.

The sole Made in USA source who still produces them for the US military under National Stock Number 5110-00-162-2205 is Colonial Knife Co. in Rhode Island.

Why buy Chinese knock-off when you can buy the real USGI item brand new in the wrapper for $30?

In our family a Mil-K-818 is a right of passage for young boys on their 10th birthday.

I currently carry a BOKER Magnum switchblade which is legal here in Arizona. While the knife carries the BOKER name they are currently made in Taiwan. The knife is sturdy and the blade carries a keen edge. The advantage here is I can carry this where firearms are not allowed. I believe it has the same intimidation factor as racking a 12 ga pump shotgun when I push the button.
