I recently picked up a Glenfield 30 made in 1971 and a 30A made in 1975. Neither are marked as having a microgroove barrel. Does this mean they do not have a microgroove barrel?

Clean the barrel then look at the inside. Do you see six distinct spiral ridges (Ballard type) or do you see about 12 smaller spirals (Micro-groove)?
