Hey Guys.

Don't know if you saw this over in the 45-70 forum...

Would you all be interested in a carbon fiber full length mag tube kit that installs without gunsmithing?
I put one on my Guide Gun and am thinking about making a few kits. See the pictures (kind of like old times... ;) )

Aside from looking great, the carbon fiber (and kevlar inside) tube has an advantage over steel. It won't dent like steel which can prevent the tube from feeding. It's lighter (we certainly don't need to add weight to the lever guns).

The kit would include the tube, new follower, new end cap, mounting bracket, tenon and the fasteners. It would use the existing spring. All you would need to install it is a screwdriver and can be installed in just a few minutes. Estimated price on the kit would be under $100.00. Aside from the GG, I could do it for the 444, 1895, 308MX, 338MX.

Would this be of any interest to you all?

Regardless I hope things are good with everyone.

Best,

ORhunter

ABSOLUTELY.. A full length tube for my 22 inch barrel 444 would be great.. Was that one something you made for yourself, and do you plan on marketing it? If it is something you made, it's your idea so market it and see if you can sell them for like you said, all the 336 based Marlin Lever Rifles like the 444 and 1895, but also look at offering them for the 1894's as well.. If you put something like that out on the market that would be durable enough to hold up in extreme temperatures, get knocked or dropped against rocks and not break, I am sure you might find yourself STarting a company and going into a new business and livelihood.
