Has anyone here ever heard of Camillus 886 Marlin Firearms Lockback Knife? If so what kind of price would one expect to pay for a like new in box one that has not been sharpened? Any advise appreciated. Thank you.

That Knife was part of a limited package that included a Marlin 1895 CLTD............the rear bolster carries 3 or 4 numbers, and those numbers are the last digits in the serial number of the rifle it was mated to..................

I agree that they are a good strong well made knife, but I'll disagree that they are not collectible..........I think they are, even if they are not high dollar knives. Don't forget, Marlins were not initially high dollar rifles.

I also have a Marlin Camillus lock back knife NIB, that was given to me............#860 or #0860, (I can't recall now) but I don't have that S/N on my 1895 CLTD rifle, and I don't have the correct knife that should go with my rifle, either.

Tomray thanks for the post. I saw there were a 4 numbers on the rear bolster and 3 numbers on the tang. It made me wonder if the knife was a frankenstein like some of the high dollar Case knives that get past off as real on Ebay.
Golphin,

I don't understand what you're saying or asking............I'll need to go check the numbers on my Knife.
