Almost a Marlin Owner - soon, real soon

I made an online purchase of a Marlin Camp 9 from a pawn shop. I'll be picking it up on Tuesday. I have a thing for pistol caliber carbines, this will be my fourth.

I've got two Ruger PC carbines, an AR9 and now the Marlin.

I've already got two buffers and spare 16.5 lb recoil springs in bound and some MecGar mags.

I'm looking forward to learning here.

Welcome aboard the Forum, Marvin.....from SE Texas. Seems like you are very well protected and armed with 4 carbine rifles. Are you going to scope that Marlin camp 9 ? Nice that you can stockpile 9mm ammo and be fueled for all your rifles.

My only camp rifle is a 336 Marlin in 30-30 that I cut down to 16.5 in bbl. It holds 5 rounds in mag.

Welcome! I love my Camp 9. Family member found it in a in-law’s garage. New in box. Still had the owners manual attached to the trigger guard. Of course the buffer was a pile of plastic crumbs. Thanks to the info on this site I stripped it down and repaired it before shooting it. I even used it in a few pcc matches for fun.
