Well, if they can't ban them, they'll attempt to make ones life miserable owning it. Precisely why we have constitutional law and the Bill or Rights!

Until we impose punishment for these lawless lawmakers, imposing such unconstitutional laws, they'll never stop.

No doubt, wanders. Not to mention, the SC will smash it straight away.

Not only unenforceable, but registerable as well. Did they authorize funds to keep a magazine registry or specify how the "registered" mags are to be identified? I doubt it. I'd expect compliance to be impossible even if someone were to want to register their magazines.

It's the sort of violation that will only be charged if they need to accuse you of something else. Such as something to plea bargain down from.

No, and it wouldn't be constitutional either.

Ridiculous to say the least! I'd tell 'me to KMA! How much longer before you're outta there jack!

Well, this isn't in CA but we're doubling down our search to depart CA, just the same. Newsom is engaged in fully defying the SC's Bruen decision. The tyrant he is has made CC virtually impossible. You cannot venture anywhere without breaking CA restrictions in place. Enough, we're out ASAP!

Ridiculous. Massachusetts can KMA. All my stuff sunk in a boating accident.

It definitely would be nice if, as you call them, lawless lawmakers were held accountable for their actions. It would also be great if they had to payback all the taxpayer money they waste.
The only way they could do that, since government generates no income whatsoever, is to print the money they would intend to use to do the payback which, in turn, would just end up costing us more in the long run in the form of massive inflation.

Though we are on the very edge of losing the Const outright, we arent there yet and so they pick away at all little elements that make gun ownership MISERABLE. So much so that the legislatures dont stop at any new law and the ATF doesnt stop at any new rules, the ATF, for example, is outright asking gun shops to cease business altogether. I think CA has recently lost 787 gun stores by them simply being harassed to quit. If you cant ship guns to your house and there arent gun shops in your town, right there is the end of guns except what you have. Add coming AI to this and its going to lead not to civil unrest but social collapse, not because of guns per se but the entirety of various measures on different fronts. We CAN adapt to change, we always have, but there is also a limit to a persons willingness to adapt and I believe we are on that edge.

To anyone convinced that the state of California holds so many "treasures" that giving up your ability to defend yourself is not worth the loss in "life style" - please do not move! You will never be happy to live in a state without the beautiful surroundings and the social status only afforded to those uneffected by state laws that supersede the Constitution. Instead move to a "Blue State" with your "California money" where your political influence and money will flourish. "********" cherish their Bible, guns, and God given freedoms that "clash" with the "liberal" life style and intrusive government agencies. I was a "native" of that once great state long ago and understand the "tie that binds"; but those prosperity days for California are long gone and have little chance of coming back (IMHO). No disrespect intended, but my current, and adopted state, has become overrun by people unhappy with their "Blue" states or cities they help create. What seems to follow are increased prices in every area of the local economy; and local politicians being swayed by their large "pocket books" and "liberal" social views that seek to change the political landscape. "Locals" in our region tend to "push back" - "doubling down" against CRT, "transgender grooming", "restrictive" speech, "climate" activism", and "anti" 2A laws. If you decide to move, it will have a life changing effect on you and your family that can be "liberating" for those prepared, and a depressing decision for the few expecting "Nirvana" in a land without the "high Sierras" and beach front property are enticements. If you cherish your freedoms and sanity, you will love living in a "Red" state; and be welcomed in - at least by me. My .02

California is a big beautiful state, that’s true. What most people don’t realize is that there are gun friendly counties and CC permits are easily available to those who pass the testing and pay the fees. There’s also millions of us red white and blue conservatives, willing to stay and fight against the B.S. you spoke of. If I had young kids in public school I’d probably pack it in; but I ain’t running, Molon Labe!!!

The Democratic Party is bad for the country and should be banned. I just don't understand how people can support such a draconian party. I guess they are blind to the facts and easily brainwashed. Not saying that the Republicans are any better. What this country really needs is to go back to the basics. If you really want to serve in office, then do so and receive a modest income. Remember, you are there to serve the people, not fill your pockets like most overpaid and underperforming politicians do, IE: DEMOCRATS. All they care about is how long they can stay in power. I guess I've said enough.

I understand and can admire your “grit”. While working at a gun store I‘ve had similar discussions with Illinois residents as they handed me their “foid” card in which their state politicians “cleared” them to handle a potential firearm purchase, then wait for permission to purchase if they were so inclined. Several residents offered up the information that Chicago’s city restrictions had no effect on them or their family because they lived in a rural area. They did not feel their neighbors posed a threaten to their homestead, regardless of our border problems.
My state and local government protects my rights because we vote out those that do not do so. It is true that all that can change if “blue cities“ change the landscape; however, we have a very active 2A membership that dominates the “state house” as well as a very vociferous citizenry of gun owns in all the counties.
you don’t have to run, for you are easy to find in states that track every transaction and threat you pose to their control through fees, permits, and organization affiliates. I have witnessed the brave protest of dealers raided by armed ATF and have talked to people unfairly treated by the IRS and Federal agencies! Not so surprising, no one came to their aid and some even figured they got their “just desserts“ for being so obstinate. Only you know your true “friends“ and your potential adversaries.
I’m too old to run, but I already live in a gun friendly state that wants to keep it that way. California once had an issue on the voting ballot that divided the state in half (north and south). Just like ridding yourself of your current governor - it hasn’t gotten bad enough, yet! Good luck in your efforts and keep your head down; they may come for you last.

Well the original inhabitants of this land were not as peaceful as people would like us to believe. They would sell land to whitemen and then attack and kill them later. They fought amongst themselves over a drop of a hat.
And, in addition to all that, they would raid each others tribal camps (on foot at 1st until Europeans introduced horses to them), kill the men, take the children as slaves and the women as concubines.

Ahhh yes---the fathers of the Magnum handgun. And don't forget "Elmer Keith"---he is a part of that gang.

This is surely madness, not to mention unworkable. The world is awash with firearm magazines. Even in the UK, with licence requirements no one registers a magazine. We dig through crates of them at gunshows, looking for the best. Over here they even plan to take surpressors off licence. This is because without a firearm, they are useless. Sound familiar? Magazines?
