Now that I have a Marlin 336 35 coming, I always heard that Remingtons 200gr RN was a really good bullet. Since it's hard to find them, I was wondering how the Hornady Revevoltion in 200 gr shoots. My LGS just got some in and does this ammo shoot well in the 35. I don't roll my own so this reason I'm asking. I'm referring to their loaded ammunition.

It shoots well, and also Works well on Deer Sized Game. Very accurate in all my 35s I load it to equal the 200 grain Hornady round nose. Same point of impact at 100, and if I hunt where shots can be out to 200 yards I use the FTX Bullet, and up close which is the usual in my neck of the woods the Hornady Round Nose works Perfect. I love both Bullets.

The LeverEvolution is very accurate in my 336. I have yet to find a deer willing to stand in front of my rifle, so I can't say how it does in that department.

It's always best to try several brands/bullets to compare and see what your given rifle prefers. That said, the Hornady LE 200gr FTX ammo groups better in my .35rem than anything else I've put down the tube. Really impressed me the first time trying it, and also noticed a small increase in felt recoil, but nothing big. Good luck to you.

I acquired my Marlin 336 35 Rem. back in March & it came with 2 boxes of Hornady Leverevolution ammo.. The LE shot so accurate, I went ahead & ordered 8 more boxes (10 total) to have a stock of 35 Rem. ammo as I could not, & have not found any other 35 ammo local or online. When more choices of 35 ammo hits the market, hopefully later this year, I will try other brands, but the LE ammo is more than good enough for hunting.

The LE factory round shoots very well in my XLR, that had been shortened. However, the 200 gr. Remington Corelokts shoot better in my CVA Scout V2. In my Marlin, they shoot sub MOA, but on 1.5 MOA in the Scout, and the Remington ammo shoots sub MOA in the Scout. The LE ammo is good to go in the Marlin. Try them both and see which is better................

The Hornady ammo shoots well. Very accurate and allows you to take longer shots without dropping like a rock. A guy that I bought a used JM Stamped 35 REM last year told me he took a good size buck last season at 200 yards with the rifle I just bought from him. He had a good Leupold scope and the Hornady ammo. Meat in the freezer.

I've got a few boxes of Hornady FTX LE's for all my Levers 30-30 win,35rem,44mag & 45-70govt, well I take that back because they don't make it for 454casull don't know why? Quess I could get some 45lc LE's!

I bought my first .35 about two weeks ago. I found just one single box of LE locally and grudgingly bought it. It shot very well.

I've since found eight boxes of LE at a newly opened local Cabela's, plus a good pile of it at a local gun show last weekend. I passed on all of it, because my brass and bullet mold arrived and I'm making my own now.

I reload for the most part but the 35 Rem Hornady LE ammo shoots very well in all my Marlins. I currently reload the FTX or RN 200 grain Hornady bullet and have been getting great results with them using LVR powder. Hornday seems to have the corner on 35 Rem bullet production at the moment.
