Pretty interesting. I wonder what kind of accuracy you could get? Priming with ground up match tips seems a little jenky. No mention of measuring, just cut a tip off, grind it up, mix with acetone and pack it in. Sounds like their Prime-all kit might be better. I've got no issue using dippers for measuring powder. I've used the dippers for years with Lee loaders.

I'd love to hear from someone who has actually used one of these kits. If they can produce accurate ammo it might be cost effective for 22 mag.

Just to much of a PIA for me to even consider. You can find 22WMR online right now, I'd rather stock up, keep my stock up, ...shoot, and enjoy it.

I'm not short on OEM .22WMR so I don't think so. Maybe get the kit now and store it for later. I just bought six boxes of Speer Gold dot HP .22WMR for $50 total (laughs maniacally).

My gun, and myself prefer the CCI 40gr ammo HP or gamepoints have been my all around ammo. I also stock up a couple boxes of 50 will last me a good while as I'm stingy with wmr ammo... it has always been expensive. I can also fall back on lighter bullet weights if need be. If you do get the kit I would be interested in a review of it.

I stocked up on 22 mag when sportsmans guide had Armscor 22 mag for $5.60 a box. I bought 4500 rounds and with what I had on hand I have around 5500 rounds. By the way Armscor loads the 22 mag for Fiocchi and that is noted as being very good ammo. The 40gr Armscor shoots the the same POI as my Winchester 40gr ammo and is more reliable to boot. I have never has Armscor split a case like sometimes happens with winchester 22 mag ammo.

In the last couple of Backwoodsman magazine there have been ads for a kit to reload 22 or 22 mad ammo and they have a primer mix you can buy that should be better than matches. I would not care to try this myself. I have enough to reload around here now as it is.

There's a local gun store I went to today, that STILL has Max Prices on their .22WMR ammo...
$25 a box for CCI Maxi-Mags...as you can guess, I didn't buy any...especially since Wally &
Academy have plenty on hand at $14.98...well, they HAD plenty...they're still some left ;)

Big Shrek keep an eye on Sportsmans Guide for the Armscor ammo. Its good stuff. The 40gr rounds shoot to the same point of aim at 100 yards as the Winchester 40gr loads and groups just as well also. I have read that the excellent Fiocchi 22 mag ammo is just rebranded Armscor. I am a real 22 mag fan. I can't hardly shoot a 22lr the same day after firing a few 22 mag rounds.

I have CCI 22 mag ammo but it is not loaded as hot as the Winchester stuff. The 40gr CCIs land about 4" lower at 100 yards. An old friend now long gone had an AMT 22 mag pistol and he said the manual warned against using CCI ammo stating while it was good ammo it just didn't have the energy to reliably function the gun. I am just quoting here and have never fired one of the AMT pistols myself.

Armscor .22WMR is the only one I don't have on hand...
got Fiocchi at $12 a box tho a few weeks ago :)

CCI's the most reliable rimfire ammo I've run across, cycles my PMR-30 and Marlin 922M just fine!
I like that the FPS stays consistant with them...usually within 10FPS up/down, which gives less
of an up/down deflection.

Also run Federal Game-Shok 50-grain outta my Marlin 25MN, it just LOVES that stuff :)
