Unfortunately I have to sell this Cowboy due to some major car problems!
For sale a JM 2006 1895 Marlin cowboy in 45-70. This has the 26 inch octagonal barrel in near mint shape!
It has the none checkered cowboy stock with some beautiful grain in the American Black Walnut.
Wood is better than most that I've seen! Nice tiger stripe on handguard. It has 30 round's thru it, all round's discharged properly. This rifle is not even broken in yet!
It hit's dead center at 50 yard's. This rifle doesn't have a mark on it. {photo's upcoming}
I installed the Beartooth Mercantile safety delete. I hate the ugly push button safety on lever action rifles!
Of course I will ship the original safety with rifle, Also enclosed is 50 round's of 45-70,$165.00 value.
! new box of Hornady 325 gr. FTX, One and a half boxes of Bullseye 405 gr. lead flat nose
Also enclosed are two Azoom snap caps.$1,300 + 50 for shipping from my FFL to your FFL.
First to post, I'll Take It get's it! My preference is a P O Money order for fast transaction.
I will take a personal check but will take time to clear!
PS sorry about the photo, my camera is old!

I don't know about up and up and up...... in 2006 I had just come home from 18 months in Iraq (December of 2005 to be specific) and a brand new JM Marlin Cowboy in 38-55 was in the rack at my LGS. Price tag then was about $1,000 if I remember correctly. So considering primers were $30/brick and powder was about $25/pound in 2006 I think $1300 is a fair price for this rifle and ammo.
