Is there still any interest in 1895 Cowboy rifles? I currently have a couple of Ltd's and a couple of 26" cowboys that have become safe queens. I need to get them out and shoot them. What kind of interest do people have for them? One of my favorites is my little mule.

I’d say any marlin or Winchester lever-action with an octagon barrel will always be desirable. I’d like to see the marlin 1897 (22LR) octagon version again. I’d take an 1894 octagon version too in 41 or 44mag.

Doesn’t seem to be much interest in them in recent years and I don’t know why, I bought one in 2007 and it’s my favorite levergun. I’d gladly buy another one if I could find a new one!
