Those models have always been desirable, especially the LTD series. I have no idea of value but looking at ended Gunbroker auctions should give you a ballpark idea. I would get them out and shoot them!!

 

1895CB is my favorite.

 

Since Ruger has not re-introduced the 1895CB and I don't see it happening anytime soon, demand will be there especially for the JM version.

 

My 16" octagon LTD III in 45/70........Will kick the "shortnin" out of a biscuit.

 

I have one of the original 1895 LTD rifles. It’s the first lever action I ever bought - long enough ago I don’t have a photo of it by itself on hand.

 

I’d say any marlin or Winchester lever-action with an octagon barrel will always be desirable. I’d like to see the marlin 1897 (22LR) octagon version again. I’d take an 1894 octagon version too in 41 or 44mag.

 

There was a half octagon, half round Marlin on MO recently.
Really stood out for me.

Is there still any interest in 1895 Cowboy rifles? I currently have a couple of Ltd's and a couple of 26" cowboys that have become safe queens. I need to get them out and shoot them. What kind of interest do people have for them? One of my favorites is my little mule. View attachment 1003259

Doesn’t seem to be much interest in them in recent years and I don’t know why, I bought one in 2007 and it’s my favorite levergun. I’d gladly buy another one if I could find a new one!
