I have a few questions based on everyone's posts. If I make my own, how do I make it adjustable? The site supporter, would he be willing to make one longer than his normal size if I talked to him before ordering? Finally, the m1907 sling, is that the type that has the metal hooks to adjust the length? The reason I ask this is, I would like to have a quick adjustment on the sling. Sorry if these seem like stupid questions. This is the first time I've ever purchased a sling. Thanks again for everyone's input.

Yes the 1907 is the military sling with the hooks. Turnerslings makes nice ones in different lengths. M1A shooters use these a lot. I like the 1907 as it is a true sling-a shooting aid. The others are carrying straps. Learn how to use it and it's almost like carrying a bench in the woods to shoot off of.
