How come we don't have one?

There's a long thread about the 30-30 not getting any respect, and we don't even support ourselves.

Count me in. I just traded a good saddle for 2 long guns and 2 pistols. One of the long guns was a 1980 336, 30-30. Great shape too. I have not had a 336 in 10 years due to a dumb move of selling it. Glad to have one back. I plan to leave my 270 at home next month and hunt like I use to with a 336, and iron sights.

The 30-30 don't need no team, it's THE leveraction caliber!

While the sportswriters are denying the capability of the round, it just quietly goes out year after year after year and does it's job! My 30-30 isn't as pretty as my .444, isn't as LARGE, and isn't as much fun, but it just sits there and is ready to perform at a moments notice.

This round (and it's shooters) doesn't need recognition, doesn't get offended in the 30-30 vs .35 debate; isn't expensive to shoot. It just does the job!...

There hasn't been a time in my entire life that I haven't owned a Marlin 30-30 ... the same one actually. It was given to me when I was born by my Grand Father and in the years before I was old enough to use it my Father used it to bring a multitude of deer and elk to our table in Southwestern Oregon. I don't get out much with it since I moved to Indiana but still have it and am very proud of its heritage.

Count me in ... please.
