I went out to the shop this morning and it was pandemonium in there. The fitting to my water heater sprung a leak. I had water all over the floor and it sprayed all over the inside of my counters. I don't know how long it had been going on, but I suspect several days. I had not been out there since last weekend. Humidity was extreme with "dew" on all metal fixtures. Suface rust had formed on my drill press and a few other metal items that were not painted or oiled. I cleaned it all up and am air drying it now (might take more than a day to do that).
Question: I had 60 rnds primed and waiting for powder on the bench with a paper towel over them. I also have about 1500 primers in their boxes. Are they ruined? I thought about loading 20 of the 60 and see if they shoot OK, is that a valid test for hunting reliability? My powder should be fine since the canisters were closed. Tell me what you think.
