Rising Powder Prices

I have been buying powders and primers that have the potential to be used in several calibers (I am sure I am not the only one). They may not be the exact best for any given caliber or gauge but they will work. All are purchased after reading 4 different reloading manuals and making a compatibility list. This even includes using factory overrun, seconds, blemished components, and CCI #34 Mil.-Spec primers to substitute for large rifle that have basically disappeared. Some of these components were not the most economical but some were (such as Shooters world powders purchased 2 years ago that were very available at the time). Paid the haz-mat fees and just basically had to grin and bare it. BUT,,, some of the "higher prices" I paid are now bargains. I have a supply for future shooting for me and both of my sons that will last a long time. I say, if you can afford components now that you need, and they are available to go ahead and buy them. The future of these products being available is very sketchy at best. And yes, even primers can be "reloaded" with some effort and patience.
