Ring at the Top of 35 Remington Case

They're OK to use. Full length size and check for length. Trim them all the same,so you get a consistent crimp. Looks like somebody got his crimp die set too low and jammed them hard. Manufacturers crimps aren't that crude.

Edit update: I just read it again,and see it was factory ammo. I've been wrong before,but either way,that's a crude job on the crimp.

I've seen some pretty crude crimp jobs on factory ammo lately. Mostly from Remington... Strange part is, it still shot decent.
Seems like I saw a similar crimp on a box of Hornady in 35Rem that I bought as well.
