Hey Sniper. I've been using RL 7 in my 1895M for as long as I've owned it. It's a good powder for 350gr and 400gr bullets and It seems to be pretty accurate (I get 5" groupings at a 100 meters with 405gr rem sp and XS ghost ring sights;muzzle velocity 1823 fps.) . As it turns out I'm going to try H322 for the first time this weekend with some 405gr rem Boolets just to see if the grass is greener on the other side.

Here's the data I use.

My Hornady Manual sixth edition lists 51.5gr Reloader 7 behind a 350gr FP bullet as a max load.( 1974 fps is the average velocity I get.)

And the Alliant web site shows 47gr Reloader 7 behind a 400gr speer SP as a max load.

I use these two loads all the time in my marlin and they work well. I would still recommend working up to your max loads despite my success with them.

Good luck.:beerglass:
