This Bowie knife I found in my back yard in 1990 along the hurricane fence, along with another but will only show this one today. It needs a finger guard back on it. I had a member on MO's make the sheath for me. From what info I found knife was made in the 60's.

this is a case wildlife series squirrel trapper I forget what the handle are I’d have to dig the box out or look up the blade stamp. if anybody knows how to rotate the images let me know.

im going to post one of my knives a day just to see how long it takes to go through them all. ive never counted how many i have. Its a lot.

Do they count if they're all wood?

Knife build challenge on a wood working site. A member wanted to make a calendar of all wood knives.
Blade and Tang are Ziricote, scales are Honduran Rosewood Burl, bolsters are supposed to be African Blackwood, although they are far from black still, after 4 - 5 years. Overall length is about 11 inches. Would have liked to have done a little more with the handle, but alas the Honduran Rosewood Burl was only that big, so...

Probably wouldn't skin a buck, but it is sharp enough to draw blood.
