I've seen these threads on other model forums, but not on the 1894 forum. So I thought I'd start one. Here's my '79 1894c. Wood is newly refinished. There was a nasty dent in the right side of the forearm that had broken the wood grain. I steamed it out the best i could, but it is still quite noticeable to the eye (less so to the touch). Not perfect, but I think it turned out pretty good.
