Guy's and Gal's we did hijack the thread in 444 .. so how about we post some photos and stories here on scooters.. ;D
Actually when Harley did away with the Shovelhead's and came out with the Evolution motors we quit working on them and did a lot more riding!!miatakix said:You guys with your Harleys sure are a funny lot. I favor a British bike, like the '67 Triumph Bonneville I used to have, because I prefer to spend more time working on my bike than riding it, know that manly bikes "mark their territory," and love the thrill of not knowing what gear you'll get when you shift.
Seriously, American motorcycles, indeed.![]()
I like 'em as well for dirt riding anyway. My first bike, when I was 8yrs old, was a Suzuki RM75Gunjunkie said:I like the zukies....
That's why they say to "Keep the rubber side down" ;Dtmanbuckhunter said:I've ridden and raced motocross for years, and just recently quit. I like the taste of dirt much better than concrete. ;D
I have an older FLHT that looks a whole lot like yours. Same color even. Pics tomorrow.marlin shooter said:My 2007 FLHT. I love riding this bike, and with the price of gas it doesn't hurt as much at the pump compared to my pickup truck. Only downfall is it cut's into my shootin time!

When I had my 65 back in 02, which is pictured in a few of the pics, my dad at 280 pounds was scared to go past 3rd gear because the front end would start coming up. lolsix_gunz said:AWESOME Tman!!! I started my boy out on a Suzuki RM50 when he was 5yrs old and then moved him up to a Kawasaki KX-60 at 7yrs old....that was what he raced his first race on.
Very fast bikes for their size.
My kx125 was a real beast. Nothing like holding it wide open and jumping a 60 foot triple step up!six_gunz said:That's funny....reminds me of my wife, she wheelied over on the KX60 ;D ;D
She thought she could handle it's power but once the front end came up she couldn't stop giving it more gas....and more gas...and more gas until it finally came over. She never got hurt but I couldn't help but laugh...she respected it after that and took easy on the throttle.
