I recently purchased a 44 mag, made in 1994, and am having some issues loading it to maximum capacity. I pulled the end cap and spring out of the magazine tube, and found this odd looking bump below what I assume is the follower retaining ledge(?) near the muzzle end of the tube. This bump limits my capacity to 6 rounds. I was wondering if anyone else had come across anything like this before? I have owned several Marlins over the years and this is a first for me.
