Wax the blade with gun wax for storage. Cool Kinfolks. I have one from my uncle. But his handle is different. Hunting knife from his early hunting years.
Kinfolks knives was a company that started as an off-shoot of the Case Bros company
in the early days. There is actually a collectors book about the company, it's knives,
and dating/identification using tang stamps now available.
I ran some quick checks on the name, USMC and Army. Sorry, got nothing so far. Do have another route, but will take longer. Will try, rare anglicised german name so might turn up something.
