History or Info on the 980 DL .22 Mag Please

The marlin 980 was produced from 1962 to 1970 whhich was replaced by the model 782. a total of 33, 643 were produced.

The first two digits of the S/N subtracted from 100 or Barrel code will give you the year of manufacture.
