I bought this rifle about two years ago when pricing was still normal. It shoots 1.5 inch groups at 100 yards. Scope is a Bushnell featuring 1.5 - 4.5X settings. I really like this outfit.

I have a CVA Scout in 444 Marin and a CVA Hunter in 450 BM. Both are accurate and reliable rifles, especially for the price.

Nice rifle!

I got a very good deal on a used one two years ago, a 7/08 with Leupold VX Freedom on top. I kept the Leupold and put a nice Weaver 4X on it and then gave it to my buddy Bob on last year's gift hunt.

He loved it 👍

I am sold on these rifles....for just a rifle to take hunting they are superb, very accurate, and, I shoot cast bullets only and have yet to have those barrels lead foul...even with softer alloys!

My three are a modified SG 444, and a smokeless powder 44 cal muzzle loader, both Hunter models, and a 18" barrel 44 Mag, a Scout, that I built for still hunting/stalking. They are the blue/black models.
