I recently purchasted a used JM 336 30-30 on gunbroker but won't receive it until next week some time. Since I purchased tis rifle I've discovered that cast bullets and the mico-grove rifling aren't the best combo. I cast my own bullets. By far most of my shooting will be just fooling around-steel, targets etc. At first I only want to buy one mold and I prefer Lee. I would like opinions on what would possibly work the best in this rifle. One member here advised me in my introduction to look for a 50's vintage 336 with ballard rifling for cast shooting but I didn't catch that in time. Gas checks aren't a problem. I really don't want to buy one mold after another to find one that works. Thanks
