Haven't seen anyone mention these bullets, but the crater and crater lite bullets of 420 gr. and 550 gr. look to be the baddest bullets i've seen for lever guns and single shots... check out the articles where they used some on bison and tested them in newspaper... at 2000 fps penetration was 3' in wet newspaper. at 1600 fps penetration was 6'... so at modest velocity heavy hard cast flat nose bullets penetrate way better than at higher speed.... would like to load some of these bad boys in my Shiloh #3 sporting rifle...
