For those that don't roll your own 375 Win., www.ammoseek.com will direct you to GunBuyer. They have ammo manufactured by HSM using Sierra's 200gr GK. The brass is from BB. Has anyone heard of it? I bought three boxes @ 35.93 each. Looks good, we'll see.

Yes, that's them. They're out of Montana. They started out years ago dealing direct to the public. Now you have to go through retailers. Good stuff. If memory serves, the HSM stands for Hunting Shack Munitions, or something like that. They're old website was TheHuntingShack.

I bought a box of HSM 30-06 ammo around 2003 before I started reloading. It was the most accurate, tightest grouping ammo I've ever shot in my Savage 110. I must have tried 20 or more different brands, bullet weights and bullet types, to include Federal Gold Medal Match 168gr BTHP, but that HSM 165gr BTSP shot tighter groups than all the others.

Needless to say, I was very impressed with the quality and reliability of their ammo, and wouldn't hesitate to buy more if I didn't roll my own.

I'm an experienced reloader and found the .375 to be a PITA to reload. I only recently started to load for it. I'm using the Sierra 200 gr. bullet and Reloder7. The charges are from the Sierra manual and so heavily compressed that it is difficult to get a consistent seating depth. I haven't yet found a non-compressed load that will give decent velocity.

Have you tried H4198 yet? What brand of brass do you have for 375 Win? I haven't tried RL7, so I don't have it for a comparison. I had H4198 for my 45-70 so that's what I use for 375 Win.

I load my leverguns for tight groups more than velocity. Once I find a tight grouping load, I'll shoot through the Chrony and increase the powder charge by 1/2 grain until my groups get bigger than I want.

That W-W Super brass should be good and consistent for accurate loads. I've never used it for 375 Winchester, but I did for my 300 Win Mag, and it shot some excellent groups.

It's been awhile since I loaded any 375 ammo, but I think I used the starting load that is published in the Hodgdon reloading book, and it shot good enough for a hunting load. I'm hoping to do some more load development this summer for my 375W. I'll increase charge weights in 1/2 grain increments, from start load to max load (maybe not that high) until I find the rifle's sweet spot.

I just started loading the .375/200grn Sierra bullet with rl7 and had no problems loading up to 38.2 grns. By the time I pay shipping the price through GB the same as a local GS.
