For sale in Florida is my lightly used Marlin 336A chambered for 30-30 with Warne bases and rings attached. The barrel is 24 inches long with micro-groove rifling. Walnut stock has the original finish with only a few light dings. A hammer spur is included along with an Owner's Manual. The trigger has been professionally lightened a little. The rear sight was removed and misplaced so a dovetail filler is suggested. Overall condition is excellent! Before moving to Florida I hunted within Pennsylvania with this rifle and had very good luck shooting Core-lokt ammunition.

My price is $549.00 which includes FREE shipping to lower 48 USA states. Payment by cash or money order is OK.

A current and valid FFL is required to receive delivery of this rifle. That means I will need a copy of a FFL from your area to send the rifle to that address. Most gunshops provide this transfer service for a reasonable fee.

The first person to post, "I'll take it" should send me a PM for payment and address confirmation.

Thank you for your consideration.

Thankfully a 30-30 and not a 35 Remington...

Whew, same here! I don't think I could stand leaving it here if it was as 35. And if I didn't already have a 336A 30-30, this would be a great choice. I like my shorty lever guns for sure, but there's just something about the 24" 336A and the 24" barreled 444 Marlins that are just classic. That's a fine looking rifle! And priced right I'd say.

I have a 1976 336A 30-30 and its a sweet shooter to be sure. Perfect tree stand rifle for me---swings easy and one can mount a low profile scope with the factory D&Ting.

A nice rifle at a great price! Like another poster said, "Thankfully not a 35." I've got a half dozen 30 WCF A's of different vintages, all great shooters, and the 75-80 vintage ones shoot the tightest groups. Don't know why, buy Marlin must have really had it together at that time. A real hunter needs to buy this rifle and put it back to use.

The rifle is sold to Old Boy; awaiting payment and FFL document for shipment.

This is a very nice rifle and I will miss it. But my plans include a hunt for axis deer in Florida which is a priority for me at this time.

Axis deer originated in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and India. They're about the same size as a big mule deer buck and antlers often grow to 34 inches or more in length. These amazing animals have been "exported" to many other regions within our planet. Florida and Texas have the most animals but Louisiana has a growing herd.
