Just getting my Marlin guide gun and I bought 2 boxes of ammo at Bass Pro the other day. Bought one of 300gr HP and one of the 405gr JSP, both Rem.
Has anyone used factory 300gr HP loads on deer and black bear? I know the 300 has performed poorly when pushed too hard, but what about factory loads?
