Alright fellers, y’all were extra helpful on my case cleaning question, so here’s question #2.
I’ve been reading and reading and rereading recipes until my eyeballs are crossed. Thankfully, it looks like some powders that were MIA are coming back slowly. I live a few miles away from Gamaliel shooting supply and intend to go over there and maybe hit up one other local reloading place in the next few days and look over their components.
I know there are several powders that will work for both of those calibers, but not all equally as well. I’m not a velocity junky, but I’m looking for around factory performance. Anybody willing to share what powders you use in 30-30 and 35 Rem? I’m just looking for a starting point so I have an idea of what I’m looking for.
As to 35 Rem, I’ve been reading a lot on Hogdgon’s website. I was kind of disappointed. Most of the recipes I read seemed kind of on the weaker side. And Alliant’s website is pretty pathetic.
