I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the age and value of a rifle I've had since I was a kid. It's a Glenfield Model 30GT 30/30 rifle? It has a 18" barrel and shoots great!! Stock is all wood no plastic.
Thanks

Sweet 30GT.
I have a 70 model glenfield that is very accurate (2/3 mag tube Golden 50)...it is not much to look at but really shoots.
I agree with the price others have suggested $400 to $500 because the GT is in demand by many (including me). A normal 30AS for example in the same condition can be had for $250 to $350 if you keep your eyes open.
If I were you, I would not even consider selling that little gem...too much history.

For those who prefer a straight grip stock and shorter barrel, this carbine is tough to beat. I have hunted with mine nearly every year since purchased in 1979. It has toppled a whole lot of deer for me during these decades of regular use. $450. is an average price but I've seen this model listed for much more.
