I just got a Lyman No2 Tang peep kit for my 45-70 1895.

Sight is used but looks great, came with the long replacement stock bolt/screw and the tang Adapter (riser) block.

Lyman insert says 2 smaller screws also originally came with the kit, one of which is needed after drilling and tapping a 10-32 thread for screwing down in the middle of the Adapter-Block riser.

Anyone supply measurements of those 2 smaller screws? Are they both the same? I know they will be 10-32 thread, I could really use info on head-size, taper, length.

sold mine recently so sorry no data. But they were the same screw... You should be able to work out head size, taper and length from what you have though
