Hi guys,

I'm looking at an XT-22RO which comes with a factory scope (3-9x32), anyone used one? I figure if I don't like the scope it will become a spare and I'll buy something better, but it's a good cheap package it seems...

Anyway, thinking about putting a brick through it to see what I think, then possibly upgrade afterwards.

No-one has a factory scope?

I've never seen one in the flesh. I guess you can save a few bucks by getting the scope package. The factory open sights are nothing special. You'll want aftermarket sights or scope if you don't get the scope package. What are you going the rifle for?

Thanks. Mainly to punch holes in paper mate with the odd bit of rabbit rolling.

I'd love to roll a few rabbits myself. But, rabbits are mostly dog and shotgun fare up here. Squirrels are what I hunt with my XT-22. My rifle will manage 1.25 MOA groups at 100 yards. I use a BSA sweet 22 3-9x40. I'm very pleased. It's my opinion that your better off finding the right rifle and fitting with a scope. Of course, I've never touched the factory sight.
