Are you sure?
From what i understand change the wood in the laminate structure.
One is "PEPPER LAMINATE" and the other "NUTMEG LAMINATE"
then since each wood has its specific weigth i dont think are equal to the gram :wink:
I may be wrong, but since in the description it talks about two different essences
and not just simply a different coloring, I don't know ... therefore, I ask you this.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the different laminate colors were all the same wood, just dyed differently... If you notice the "grain" all looks the same, regardless of color (obviously except for the real walnut stocks)

If you're worried about weight then you should probably stick with the synthetic stock since I'm pretty sure it's lighter than the wood/laminate stocks. As far as laminates go, just pick whichever one you find most attractive and don't worry about it.

probably because I gave it a quick look and did not notice the weight in pounds.
