xs lever rail and ring height

Just wondering if anyone happened to be running a 2x7x33 redfield over top of the ghost ring sight and what height rings they used. I'm planning on using leupold qrw rings.

I have a Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32mm on my SBL w/ Leupold PRW's.
I'm not sure if they are medium or highs(bought them new from a guy, but he didnt have box for them)
Here It Is!!(and yes the bi-pod is for pic purposes only lol)

This is actually the pic I saw that made me go with a rail instead of A back up xs sight and qr ring setup Thank you sir ;)
Thanks wonsky. Nice lookin rifle you got there.
Here's my 1895G w/LeverRail and Nikon ProStaff 2-7x32mm, using Warne QD "Medium" rings.

These rings are .375" (3/8") high. The "Low" rings are .25" (1/4") high. Height is measured on the Warne rings from where the ring mounts to the rail, to the bottom of the ring, where the scope sits.

The way this scope is mounted, there's no way that I could get the rear sight (ghost ring) mounted and useable.
(Suits me just fine. These old eyes can't focus on the front sight too well, anyhow!) :'(

If I'm not mistaken, the "High" Warne QD rings are .50" (1/2").

Judging by your pic I would have to say that my PRW's are Mediums as well, scopes are sitting virtually indentical!
If I had of used High's I prolly could of had enough clearance over the Ghost Ring, allowing me to mount scope more rearward.
Would of been close for sure.

This is the rifle I'm putting the rail on. With the scope this far back looks like I'll have to use high rings. if they'll even work. Thanks for the input

I mounted my scope slightly forward cause I didnt wanna take my ghost ring off.
Anyways I dont mind it, just have to lean into it ever so slightly. Only problem being when you crank the power of scope up to 5 or higher you cant see much...shouldnt be a problem as I intend on using it inside 150 or less.
Good Luck ;)
I mounted my scope as far forward as I could, and still be comfortable on the stock.

I broke my neck several years ago, and since the surgery, I have limited mobility in my neck, so, I tend to 'creep up' on the stock.
IF I put the scope any farther back, I'd have to put a cheekpiece on the comb, and with just the scope the way it is, it detracts from the beauty of the levergun, already.
So, I shall "improvise. . . adapt. . . and overcome", my limitations.

The Nikon ProStaff has a 3.9" eye relief, and I'm using every bit of it!! ;D
My setup is 3x9 Burris( one inch tube) with high warne qd rings on xs rail over xs peep sight. The peep misses the tube but won't miss the bell.
Sounds like it might work If I sneak the scope a little forward or back so it will clear the eyepiece. we'll see. Thanks for all replys so far.
