Will the gray laminate stock and fore-end off a 308MXLR or 336xlr fit a 336c? Looks like the fore-end requires a different barrel band.

The butt will fit, no problem. The forearm will require a dovetail to be added to the underside of the barrel for the cap tenon. .............considerable amount of work for the end result.

I've seen complete sets (laminate w bbl band) appear on ebay. You just have to keep an eye out for them.
